In the interest of transparency and pushing other publishers in the same direction that the Gates Foundation has encouraged AAAS to move, may we know how much the Gates Foundation has agreed to pay AAAS per article? Or does Chronos always pay the same fee that others pay?

BTW, it gives the wrong impression to say that Philosophical Transactions closed in the late 1800s, as that makes it sound like it failed — it expanded, splitting into two journals https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philosophical_Transactions_of_the_Royal_Society
